Tinkle Online Games - Play & Share
TinkleOnline is India's first destination site meant exclusively for children (ages 6-12). It is an activity, games and social sharing site designed to be the first introduction to the online world. The site is an interactive application for kids who are not satisfied with just books and television. The service addresses three key needs:
- Safe environment: International and Indian sites with similar functionality (e.g., social networking) are unsafe for young audience because of inappropriate content and un-moderated interaction with strangers. All interactions in TinkleOnline are moderated.
- Wholesome entertainment: Children's websites are often ad-supported and full of violent and otherwise inappropriate games. We have a subscription-based business model (though the site is free at launch) that allows us to be very selective about promotions. The site continues the tradition of Tinkle magazine with a mix of comic characters, stories, science, general knowledge and travel.
- Introduction to Indian culture: In addition to innovative functionality like a virtual currency and a bazaar, TinkleOnline is full of quizzes and contests that will make children curious about Indian history, culture and society.
